Devices without midi inputs - midi ctrl assignment not saved

Post by hesnotthemessiah »

Not all Scope devices have midi inputs and some of these (Classic Filter Delay and Harmonic Chorus are two examples) I would really love to be able to assign controllers to, record the controller messages in my sequencer then be able to save and load up the Scope project with all the midi controller assignments I have made still in place. Sadly this is not possible on devices which do not have midi inputs as, even though they can be controlled via midi by using either the "Midi Izer" devices or inserting the actual device in a mixer insert, the controller assignments made before saving are not restored when reloading the project. Does anyone know a way round this or do I have to just accept that I cannot save my MIDI ctrl assignments for devices that don't have midi inputs?

SDK owners can use a trick to add MIDI I/O's to insert plugins, making non insert versions. It is reported here: http://wolf-audio.com/wad/scope-dp/Entr ... n_out.html

Cheers alfonso. :) Just emailed sonic core support for an SDK license.
