wow... it's got such clarity! I'm surprised they got such good results from it. It's like the original for the talker right? with the tube and stuff? Or is this something else.

I really couldn't figure out why Roger Troutman (Zapp) could get such a clear sound from his talker. It's sounds so rich and... GOOD. Anyone know of his little trick?

I read something about time ago. I think the two objects he handle should be something like a speaker and a mic. The speaker plays the instruments sound which resonates in his throat accordingly with the speech movements, then the mic pick the resulting sound up.

I had only read about it, but never heard before. I'm impressed too by its effectiveness.

ya, the machine itself is called a talker, and the mechanism is simple. I just wonder if there was anything roger did specifically to get his sound.
