very beautiful piece. I like how you tied together many different vocal styles in a very seamless way.. It's a great show of total digestion of the styles, because the transitions are organic, and natural, not like a consious effort to "cover it all".
The timbres are amazing. Although not traditional in a classical sense, it's actually almost classical in an electronic sense. Great production quality all throughout.. awesome harmonizing, and again, blending of different influence. Latin, tango, electro, hiphop to a certain extend, a note of raggae, rock.. it's all there in a liquid cocktail. heh, if this was a drink, I'd definitely get it. It's very well connected together, it feels smooth like silk. Great point on not over orchestrating / arranging, which I tend to do alot.
Overall, very inspiring, artistic, well executed, well produced. I don't understand a word you're saying, but it is as if an old friend is telling me a tale of a great lesson, that I can learn from just by the way you are telling it to me.
What really gets me is that this sort of intensity comes not from percussion, punchy drums, etc.. this is from performance, and the power conveyed in it. There is a lot for me to learn form this.
It's almost as if there was a piece of rock that I was carrying on my back.. and many others have.. And when crossing roads with you, I saw that you were carrying the same rock to the same destination.. and I felt a little relieved, and also inspired that perhaps it's not just me, but that there are many others in the world, that are carrying the same rock. It is a rock and a crown at the same time. A curse and a talent. An objective and obstacle. bleh, that's me reading in too deep. I'm probably just over-projecting my personal viewpoints on your piece.
Anyway... I sincerely hope you can continue with the concept, and make this into an album. I'm sure this is even more inspirational to you, than it is to me. These things don 't happen too often, and I can only hope you can embrace it and let it grow. If you don't out grow it first! Great work! 3 thumbs up!

1000 Thanks for your comments
Wow, kensuguro, these are the nicest things ever said to my music/art!!! Thank you, this gives me such a good feeling I can't describe.
"It is a rock and a crown at the same time."
This hits exactly the nail!!!I think with this piece it is even better to completely not understand the text. What a great thing such an international community is!!! But I'm completely blown away, that all what it's in it seems to be conveied without the meaning of the text. The text is mainly kind of quotation from a special conversation over some weeks, but very strange/absurd and with many images (maybe only two persons could get thoses images right - & yes, jimmy a woman is involved for sure
) , the sentences can be turned up and down, read left-right and you can get to different meanings - kind of a floating meaning.
When I wrote the text I had that feeling "there is no way", but allready felt the strong crown in it and when I was nearly finished I found the second meaning while playing and singing: When there is no way & no street everything is open and you are able to leave the standardpaths. And when the streets end, you maybe reached some kind of target, you can't get closer to. It depends on the Emphasizing.
THANKS A MILLION!!!!!!
