after 5 yrs i decided to update my old computer.
new one will be running an Asus P5VD2 motherboard like this one:

will i have any problems in installing pulsar II (from 7 yrs ago, 6 dsp's) and is the pulsar and Asus fully compatible?

Looks like ASUS is no-pop these days. I rebuildt my pc with a ASUS P5K card, and it it is not usable with ASIO drivers - look at my topic: In case of trouble - new P5K

Yep, an Intel DP35DP, the same one I will be getting in 2 months.
I was tempted to get the Asus P5K too the past year, because I read quite a few positive reviews about Scope and the P5K back then. But lately there are quite a few people with some troubles with that board, so I think the DP35DP even safer to get.
