Having released many products on tight schedules myself, I do not drop the hope until it is 11:59:59 pm. And after it is, there are still a few hours as it is "June" somewhere on this planet...

There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. These are things we don't know we don't know.

Dammit. I thought the post on their web site and the numerous emails they sent (that said they'll release on June) would hold. But indeed, they've changed it to Juli.

My bet: http://users.jyu.fi/~spoimala/www/CountdownScope5.php

what happens if you cross "a month of Sundays" with "once in a blue moon"
a month of blue moons!

Not 'juli' but 'end of juli' now. The plot just thickened.

ftp is still up, and no scp5, still. so there must be something else...

EDIT: back again. no news (apart from the reschedule of SCP5 to "estimated end of july", of course)

Well, if it means better final product, I guess I can manage another 10 days.
Just about.

I wonder, if the hardware is almost done, isn't the software supposed to be already finished? Why not let us have the software? Most of us are not going to buy the hardware at that price. Well, not right away. I first have to sell
one of my kidneys.

it was both outrun by reality, the DNF and the SCP5 announcement. :D
(let's just hope it's not another history repeating here)

History repeats? Lesse. Remember 4.5? I was incensed by the poor documentation for that multiband plugin, and lack of monogramed socks to go along with the release number. I was so young, then...
