hello it is my first time here.I would like
to ask something:actually i'm working with
a vst5+pulsar+....Often i see that people are talkin about logic!can somebody tell
me what is better with logic?and is it possible to make run vst5 for old songs and
a logic for some new songs?
ok boyz an girlz bye bye an d thank you
change from vst to logic is it hard?
I work with logic for 2 years after working with cubase for a long time. I just love it. In general, midi in logic is much more developed and progressive than cubase. You can do just anything you want with your sequences. On the audio side both softs are practically the same, but I find logic much smart and convenient. The native plugs in logic are superb. The only disadvantage in logic is the integration of vst instruments. It's much better on the new 4.7, but still you cannot record the mouse movements you do on vst instruments - but there's a way to overcome this.
Just start working with logic and learn it through working. When you buy it you get a very fat manual which explains it all. There is also a forum for logic users.

thank you for replying. i´m having a look on logic at the moment, and it seems very ... big... though i like it. but some working procedures seem to take more time (cause you have to work in many different windows) than they took me in cakewalk.
but maybe that´s just due to the short time i know it by now.
yesterday i finally made some nice reverbs working in the aux sends of the big mixer - that was fine. never heard such a nice reverb within my pulsar mix
well, i´m really looking forward to 'xtc'

About the different windows issue - logic has its screensets: For instance, press alt + 11 on your keyboard . From the window menu open arrange, and let's say, matrix editor. Now from the window menu tile windows horizontally, and press the chain and walking man icons in both window. Now you have a different screen set to edit your sequences. If you press 1 - you return to your arrange window. Alt + 11 - back to your new screen set. You can assign as many as 99 different screensets for your needs. Have phun!
