That was our impression as well, although in the discussions after the game, and consulting the new UEFA rules, the player outside the field was considered being part of the game...
It was a deserved win nevertheless. My wife is Dutch and I saw the game together with some friends of her/us. Need I describe the atmosphere in the living room? :D

I don't support any country (our Belgian team is sooo good they are out of competition anyway  ), as long as it is not Portugal... They may produce fine football, but it is their attitude that I dismay. They belong in a theatre...

May the best and fairest win!

btw, Chriskorff, are you Dutch? really surprised, or is it babelfish?

Borg — ik ben Nederlands!

I've lived in England since 1990 though (moved here when I was 6), so my English is pretty good, but my Dutch is getting quite rusty...

With a surname like Korff, I'm hardly from Gloucestershire!

I need to see Holland v Spain (If Holland can keep up the good form that is). :D

Dissapointed by France & Italy. Scotland should be there instead of France... we beat them home & away in the qualifiers afterall. :D

Robben has recovered, apparently, and is expected to make an appearance tonight (though whether he's starting or not, I don't know).

France will apparently be employing a defend/counter-attack strategy, so it should be interesting (that's basically where Italy went wrong — they were all to happy not to have possession for some spells, and that's when we scored).

I think, like the Italy game, it will be won or lost in the midfield.

HaHa - Come on Holland!

Seeing as England are crap and didnt qualify - Ive been supporting Holland and watching them thrash France was mighty satisfying. Although I have spain in the sweepstake at work - I hope Holland win.

They scored some corkers dont you think?
There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. These are things we don't know we don't know.

Holland played beautifully, fantastic team.

I might be biased, but the way Italy has been treated today in the game against Romania left me speechless. That referee is a shame. You can admit one heavy error, but in this case it has been a flood. Foolish. Hard not to think bad.
