Looking for quality arabic music

Post by petal »

Hi all,

My sister wants a ringtone of arabic music on her phone and asked me to find some good stuff, trouble is don't know where to begin.

I hear some really good arabic music from time to time in some of the local arabic stores in Denmark so I know it's out there (off course it is) so could someone please help me out with names and links please :)

Middle Eastern specialty stores usually sell the CDs that they're playing...

arab music is not really monoculture. it's very different from Egypt to Iraq to Yemen to Syria to Lebanon to Palestine/Israel....

You are right I need to ask them next time I notice something I like.

Still if someone could point me in a good direction I'd still appreciate the help.

I used to pick up a whole lot of music here but it seems a paying-only site now.
Are we listening?..
