I just spent a ton of time (Ok, not that long) programming in external control knobs to tweak the filters and such on the pulsar synths. To my dismay, it seems that the knob MIDI control assignments do not carry over when I start a new project. I have tried saving presets from the project where the MIDI control is working and opening them in new projects, but it seems the control data is lost...

Any solution to this problem? It would be nice to be able to set up the control info for each synth and have it ported to every project I use the synth in...

thanks

Thanks Atomic for the link.
I played around with this a bit and for others who may wonder, it seems that you can save a synth preset with MIDI controller assignments within a project and recall it later (this I already was doing). However, you cannot port those controller assignments to another project. Furthermore, if you remove a synth within a project after assigning control settings and saving the preset and then reload the synth and access the preset the midi control assignments will be lost.

So the bottom line is that MIDI control assignments are associated with projects rather than synths. (That makes sense in many studios, but I still wish for the option to "hardwire" each synth with my controller info once and then be done with it! )

Maybe some future iteration will allow the possibility of assigning midi control data to each synth, rather than each project. For now, it means a bit more knob tweaking and a seperate project for each synth...

3.0 devices CC# assignments are saved within projects.
2.04 devices you can save the devices including CC# assignment.
