Kurt Denke - The New Robin Hood

Post by nightscope »

This link to an article on & the letter from Kurt Denke of Blue Jeans Cable to Monster Cable's legal SWAT team, LaRiviere, Grubman & Payne. Contains some seriously funny stuff.

Turns out Kurt knows a bit about the law and ain't the pussy pushover Monster figured. " Not only am I unintimidated by litigation; I sometimes rather miss it. :)

5 page list of actions involving Monster Cable. Usually going after folks for using the name Monster.

OK. Can't find much in plain Anglais to see the whys and wherefores and most importantly, who won or caved in.

I do object to one of my fave childhood words being claimed by a bunch of thugs as their own. It would appear Mr Denke ain't going to back down, even tho his issue is over patent infringement rather than a trademark one.

no one won or caved in, they came to an agreement and the case was dropped 6 months later after delays, delays, delays...
