I am only hoping that someone might share some links if possible of the Harpist and Vocalist singing the Lord's Prayer that they performed on the South Lawn..
I heard the last section of it, and Kathleen Battle is a phenominal vocalist.
I am only interested in the capture of the performance.
The one I was hearing was riddled w/ feedback, surely there were muliple, simultaneous, recordings of this historic performance.
With all of the money that our government has stashed around the globe, one would think we could afford a better FOH for such a historic performance.
Personally I believe the FOH should have been flogged publicly.
I suppose having armed bodygaurds surrounding you and the hundreds of frequencies from all of their wireless communications could have attributed to the mayhem. I have had to suffer that in small town in Nevada as the Police kept interrupting the singers as freq.'s were crossed w/ scanners, but this was the White House's South Lawn!!........surely there was a soundcheck right ??
The Battle Hymn Of The Republic Of The Republic by the Army Chorus was flawless....imagine that.
