This is what I could achieve investing 2 hours of work in an emulation (measuring & building) of the high-band boost/att of a wellknown Equalizer. 
The center positions of the freqshifters are at  10khz for att & 8khz for boost. 
I captured the max positions for att & boost @ broad sound & some lower position for sharp sound @ boost. 
This EQ is quite complemetary to TziTzi

It's a dynamic control over 'too much' high. There is an additional panel hidden inside which would allow more control, but these devices are kept simple 
Maybe I forgot a diode - so the dyn button shoots the default value to the knob when hitting it which was truly not intended - but it should be no real problem, or is it?
