SHULMAN and ALEPH ZERO on HAFIROT 106fm (TLV) wednesday 6/2

Post by faxinadu »

Hello dear diggers and diggeretes!

Hafirot is excited to host chilout artist Shulman, and Shahar, the labelhead from Aleph-Zero Records. It has been a while since we had the magical chill out vibes on the show and we are looking forward to spacing out with the Aleph-Zero gang.

Aleph-Zero is a leading Israeli chillout and new-ambient label, with a host of acclaimed releases and acts under thier belt. The label has a number of interesting releases lined up for 2008, while Shulman, the flagship artist, has recently released his fourth album "Endless Rythms of the Beatless Heart".

Shulman's music is known for its mystical and hypnotic textures, blending the acoustic and the elctronic to create emotional ambient flavors. Shulman released his first album on Shaffel Records in 2002, and since his second album release on Aleph-Zero in 2003 has continued to work closely with the label.

The entire show will be dedicated to the creations of the label, with the first half hour focusing on new and upcoming Aleph-Zero releases, and the second part of the show dedicated to Shulman and to music from his new album.

This is the kind of stuff I need to bring to Vegas.

Naturally to make good money I must be a musical prostitue of sorts, and I do grow weary of this.

This stuff is so natural and fresh, electronically speaking that is.

Great stuff thanks Brotha' Man Faxinadu.

Actually for 'ambient & minimal' the artist that current comes to mind is Yagya. Rhythm of Snow & Will I Dream During the Process are both great 'dubby' minimal ambient. Mind you that's not to detrect from the artists in this thread but add to them! (something in your playlist to 'wind down' after the chillout of shulman & aleph zero).
