ADAT crackles with STM Mixer

Post by mediamalte »

I can't connect my ADAT Source with the STM Mixer in the routing Window - ther eare just crackles and high VU Levels - even there is nothing on my ADAT Interface (Behringer ADA 8000).
Does Anybody know, how I can connect my ADAT Interface for Recording?
In XTC Mode the Interface is connected with the ASIO dest and works pretty fine (even the latency is a little bit too high fo good recordings) - so there can't be an error like an destroyed cable ore broken Interface... :-?

Thats OK - The Interface is the Master and the Card is the Slave - in XTC Mode it works fine...

normally the ADA8000 works pretty well.

if it's not a bad/loose cable, a dirty port or the most likely, a master/slave issue, then it's a mystery....strange that it works properly in xtc mode...
