Hello Planet Z people, I would like to know how many days do we have before you delete the forum information? Because I understand you do so periodically, don't you?

Thanks for everything.

Nestor.

Subject: Disc.server.com stores 2000 messages

Yeah, this bothers me too. When i started this forum, there was no advertising, and no message limit, but they soon changed things. Apparently now they only keep 2000 messages in the forum. :(

I've thought about moving to a different server, where we could have no limit, and searchable archives, etc. what do people think?

it could be a good idea.
Smth cool could be a more "fluid" interface, the browsing is not fast when using 56k modem ;) Not everybody can access adsl ...

Subject: About the future

Quite frankly, I'm satisfied with this Forum as is. Nevertheless it would be wonderful to have access to all the writings, articles, ideas, and TROUBLESHOOTINGS, so those who know more have not to explain it again and again to us, those who know less…

There are groups of questions that are constantly repeated, for instance: How to load Sound Font banks onto the STS samplers, how to connect wires between devices etc.

I've noticed this forum is growing larger ALL THE TIME, and I'm pretty sure it will still grow larger and larger, so if you do something now, that will be good for later too of course.

The other day I've realized I needed some troubleshooting help, when going into a problem that many of us have had, so I tried to find for i, but all the explanations were already gone.

Whatever you do, I have to thank you very much. When I think and realize the ENORMOUS amount of time saved reading and studding here on this forum, then I realize how important it is for us, Pulsar users.

Regards, Nestor.

Ok, so I obviously went ahead and changed to a new forum system. In this sytem, messages will never expire, so we'll be able to maintain a full archive of all discussions.

Hope you like the user interface better too
