I'm reading this forum quite a lot now, and it seems that many users prefer WinXP concerning the Luna/Pulsar/XTC...
So I've installed WinXP on a second partition:D Everything seems to work fine! I can now play mp3s and wavs in several players (at the same time as I browse the internet or my computer).. I couldn't/can't do that in Win 98 Sec edition.
So that's great!! But.. Now it seems that I can't launch Logic v4.81.. I've used the same Luna 2 (v3.01) project setup as in Win 98; and it works even better in XP. But not the sequencer part..
As I launch Logic, the startup windows appears, it browses through the ASIO configuration and passes.. (it seems so at least). But then after short 10 seconds launching, I get a message..
I'll quote:
I launch Logic. The startup window appear..
The following tasks runs chronologically :
#1. Loading modules
#2. Initializing sequencer engine
#3. Init wave player
#4. Initializing score fonts
Then the message pops up! I'll quote :
<While trying to open MIDI port "Luna/PowerSampler/Electra Midi" in function "midiInOpen", the error
"There is no driver installed on your system" occured. Make sure that the MIDI interface is connected and switched on.>
Then I choose skip warning, (as it's either that or to exit Logic); then when I choose a midi channel, and then open the midi device window (on left), the Luna device is listed (but marked in light grey text), so I can't choose it..
Any ideas what can be wrong here??
I would really appreciate any help or support:))

No Midi launching Logic (WinXP)
Ahhh!! Drats!!!
Too bad.. Here's a text snapshot of the Win.ini configuration:
[Logic]
MidiIn_Luna_PowerSampler_Electra_Midi=1
MidiOut_Luna_PowerSampler_Electra_Midi=1
MidiOut_Microsoft_GS_Wavetable_SW_Synth=1
keyPort=1
MidiIn_MPU_401=1
MidiOut_MPU_401=1
It seems everything are set to "1".. so, it wasn't that probably:((((
Strange!
