Jimmy, did you actually read those pages or just had a look at the pics ?
The icon of a Mini Mac in the Toolbar doesn't necessarily mean it's simple and straightforward ;)

imho you'd rather get a along with a female president than with that stuff - but we grow on our tasks, don't we ? :P

I remember in linux, there was a gui for that program. But I didn't have any giga files to test with so I couldn't check performance. I think it's only compatible up to one version before the current one. (giga 3 if I remember) If it's fully giga 4 compliant, that's impressive. I want to set up a small cheap box that just runs kintakt / giga and piano samples.. can't imagine that being too expensive to set up.

If the AMD 2500 CPU can run Kontackt 2 / Muse Receptor, just think what Linux can do w/ a Core 2 Duo or a quad.

Both samplers free of M$ is going to be sweet.
