Scope software will not install

I have a scope/luna combination. The driver installs fine, but the scope software (both 4.0 and 4.5) seems to disappear on every computer shutdown. Obviously, it is quite a hassle to reinstall scope for every session. After restarting, the software is still there, but it does not start anymore. It is not possible to uninstall either. Messages mentioning hardware number 16 or 17 keep appearing. Anyone any ideas?
