This is something I just recorded today while experimenting with a new Scope plug I made. Deliberately strange sounding House sculpture.... Didn't work into the mix or mastering process, so you'll hear it's just a quick experiment. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Uses:-
Elektron SPS-1 (of course)
MOVeq (very early version from 2006)
Helter Skelter ( lovely j9k effect )
+ a new Scope plugin which is close to being finished
+ some other Scope plugs (effects)

I like it as it is.....

nice underground club groove....

on the critics side: maybe a bit dull sounding mix ....
maybe some mastering eqing....? graph_EQ?

There's no hi frequencies in there at all. It was deliberate so that all sorts of hi freq' stuff could be mixed over it. Anything the same tempo in the hi mid to hi frequency range should work. At least, that was the theory..
