ah yes it comes in 4 versions:
normal and gfx (see info online)
with or without spacef filters on load....
So you can choose your favorite...

The sub-preset list for loading filters works fine here, but you may have to do your own (and it will save your own default parameters).

See also tutotial #2 to learn to use the mod to CC with any insert effect (FP/Valve mixers).

SpaceF reaches out to infinity...

The 104 / 106 is really, really beautiful - probably one of the best GUI's I've seen in Scope. It actually looks 3D, without trying too hard, and the colors blend in nicely, with the darker shades staying out of your face when in the background, but with all information laid out for you, once you get familiar with it. SpaceF's stuff has always had a special charateristic look, and it's getting better and better. Looks great on my studio! And today I found the "light" switch - that is so cool! Are there different light colors too?
:) Amazed.

And now... the MULTISYNTH....

Of course, what this means is that... I'm never going to leave Scope! I make practically all my sounds with sfp synths, I mix with sfp processors... I get blank when I'm on my laptop - it's like there's nothing to do without the routing window and my beloved stock and 3rd party devices! I'm addicted. I'll have to include Sonic Core on my morning prayers from now on, may the force be with them to keep this going for a long time

Oh well... back to work... a new tool to learn!

Thank you so much, once again, Mehdi! I hope you have as much fun building these devices as we do in using them!

Dear Mehdi,

I am getting bounced out of the users area.

Could you pm me when you have time about the entry words needed.

How could anyone ever be satisfied w/ the STM series anymore? It's beyond my comprehension.

no unfortunately, we only have the white kripton bulb semi spot at the moment. i tried other bulbs and spot colors and it is cool but you want more anyway.
edit: for the color, may be check the color selector of the text labels.

Yes, I always want more, especially if it's some of that good stuff :) the white bulb is nice, I'll just put some cellophane over it if I need more colors.

Seriously, though, I'm sorry if I seem too eager! Point is: it looks great! And actually, in this case, I just thought I might have missed the magic button!

I'm still to explore the feedback function on the channels. Im working on a project that is malfunctioning (I can't get some devices to find sidiechain sources, can't route in the routing window, etc...) but as soon as I'm done, I'll get exploring some more!

BTW - The S-Filter -1 is great. Thank you for that as well...

Hello there,

ABout the side chaining problem you describe, the impossibility of making connections in the routing window is a problem that is caused by the plugin themselves (not the mixer - that i checked for this especially), and normally it could be repaired by changing the internals of the plugin (obviously, not something i can do).

However, you could try to load a mono dynamic effect in the Mono insert channels, and use the modulation inputs as sidechain signal inputs. (I haven't tried myself, i am not sure it works). Actually i had the idea to do it already, but it would be with a normal compressor (stock compressor/limiter effect only)...
What it would allow to do is to route any signal from Mod A/B/C to the sidechain input... may be i should do a simple feedback module to load outside of the mixer, so feedback could be added on any input instead of the 5 channels of the FP mixers (it is limited to 5 because it saves dsp not to put fedback switches on all mixer's inputs).a feedback module is a module that delays the signal by 1 sample, so it is not on the same timeline as the "non-feedbacked" signals (and so it can be looped back on any mixer channel)...

So, on the compressor (mono) you would have a switch to select sidechain from right or left audio input (where right is a signal coming from the Mod A/B/C and which can be any audio or modulation source)

On stereo channels, the only way i can think about, is to use the S-Filter, and the Mod to CC: this would work fine for slower modulations (compressions speed) but would be a bit more aleatory with very fast attack/release compression (i tried S-Filter with fast rate LFOs and it works fine even with fast lfos, but the faster and the less precise it goes, and you have to take care of the Attak/release params and other modulation settings). You would also be able to "compress" the sidechain signal with S-Filter-1 parameters before it reach the compressor satellite (with gain, att/release/intensity). on fast compressions, it would be less precise, but who knows, it could be enough in many cases).

You can mail me additional details about what you exactly want to do if you wish.

See you

Mehdi

I would advise him to get some sleep, but he is HYPNOTIZED.

His emails use to be longer, so I know he is in a feverish multitasking mode.

Medhi, perhaps we can toggle some sort of "auto hide surface" button ?
I dont like seeing SFP using so much CPU :P

it is already there, try to plug the 3 LFOs to the Panel Remote inputs
(well, it is not auto-hide though, rather a "blink mode".... and the mixers do not use cpu anyway) but if someone could make an output to the dsp meter (or cpu meter and get it back in scope)... it would work ;-)

Hi Jimmy,

look at the top of the page for instructions on how to change the language. It is a paypal limitation of the entrance page.. It can be changed after clicking on the payment method (or directly with the language menu: if you are lucky, the language menu appears on the first page - i never understood why it is not the same for everyone). I also replied to your mail.
