Guitar Learning Device

Post by dawman »

I learned my guitar licks from woodshedding old 45's, and LP's.

Once I became good I remember a Marantz tape deck that could do half speed cassette's so one could slow the solos down for better comprehension.

But I was already doing ELP on keys, Hendrix, and Steve Howe on guitar, so I never needed it.

I am looking for something my son could use which would use CD's to do the same thing. Just play at half speed an octave lower.

Anyone know of a device that I could get him for Christmas to build his chops?

Thank You.
