Viva La France

Post by dawman »

I hope my fellow Brotha's here from France, like their new President as much as us Americans do. He just hit a 76% postive rating in the polls here.

He speaks with wisdom, and courage. I am sure he is corrupt also, that's good. A real politician must be currupt. Like in ancient Sparta, they had the right idea. Stealing is acceptable as long as you're not caught.

I do not wish to get involved in a political discussion. But I wish he would run for office here. Talks like a real straight shooter.

I became nauseous while listening to Hillary triangulating during a debate last week. How can you run for the highest office and not be able to answer a tough question w/o trying to place blame, and dodge issues?

It's no wonder Cowboys and Actors become the President more often.

I Wish Prosperity To My Brotha's, afterall, if Celmo, DAS, and SpaceF go out of business,...I'm fucked.

No I'm not French but I live in France.I do like the way he breaks down boundaries, getting rid of the normes and what have you.I do worry about the fact that he tries to please everyone.I think it shows signs of populism, which I'm not really in favour of, I don't find it very democratic he wasn't voted with a massive majority, though if he was I would understand his behaviour.Only time will tell I suppose.

That's The Price Of Poker,

He now has a chip in the big game, he won't be going anywhere soon.

You have to like a guy who doesn't waste anytime.

We have a saying here.............When you are in command,......Command !!

If he has to kiss some U.N. ass, he wants more money, I like this guy more and more everyday.

I hope we get someone respectable, so when I visit you guys, I don't get lynched or stoned for being an American !!

M. Raphone........I like your style !!

hi,
he has made a law, last week, thats permits him to increase his salary by 140 % !!!
unfortunatly, it's not the worst thing, it's just to hide by a useless polemic the fact that the total amount of buck for the presidential office will grow from 30 000 000 Euro/year to 100 000 000Euros/years

And the same game say me that I have to work more for less buck, cause it's "the crisis" here .... :-?
I do like the way he breaks down boundaries
? maybe in his behaviour (but does we vote to see on TV a new "modern" showman?) ..that's only noise...
no new law that rock here...no new project for the society...only some new taxes for the next year...

so, don't except any change for you, unless you already are in the BO.BO.SA. cashflow ring....

:D :D :D

guillotine, probably the next gear I will have to buy !

Concernong the 140% it's pretty outrageous, as he's telling the French to Economise, as we're going through hard time etc. etc. I don't think they appreciated that.In general you vote for a capitalist government to reduce taxes etc. This hasn't been the case yet .I think alot of his proposals under which he's been elected have even been started.

The Euro sure looks strong to me, I hope all of my European brethren have a strong run so you can create more great products like Scope.

If Sarkozy wants the longer work week, I say no to that, unless it applies to SpaceF, DAS, and Celmo.

I just wish relations with our European brethren would return to the pre Bush days.

Time for a change for all of us. :D
