Err..... Excuse me.a small girl is missing, possibly dead. And all a jourmalist can do is make a " Joke " .And what's even worse is you go along with and try and justify it .If a German girl went missing, and they probably do every day.Did any German "journalist" ever make any similar jokes about Natasha Kampusch's disapperance, Maybe you'd like to enlighten me on the subject.I don't think they put anything up in the Sun Newpaper, and even that wouldn't suprise me.No, really I do respect you're opinion, if you'll just tell me why it's funny .

that probably has something to do with the fact, that germans could laugh about things where no british man would laugh about. That means it is not necessary for us to have one or a dozen murdred people or a pound of rotten flesh in a joke.Mr Arkadin wrote:i always thought German humour was an oxymoron.

Is an oxymoron like er.. police intelligence?
Any more
My 2 cents worth - Germans have a great sense of humour but this one overstepped the mark.
We used to have a British "comedian" named Bernard Manning who was so politically incorrect he could have been arrested for the things he said if he said them off stage.
Funny how he always played to packed houses though isn't it?

Probabaly it overstepped your mark and not the british. If you think it is a good practice to get all independent thinkers in jail, you are probably some sort of communist rather than a tory (which is not very usual in britain those days). Are you a reader of the sun?Neil B wrote:Mr Arkadin wrote:
