I got a red spot that would not go away on my hand. After doing a lot of research on the internet, I have diagnosed it as a Cherry Angioma. It is very common after 40 and 70% of people get it. It's not cancer and is nothing to worry about. They don't know what causes it. It can be removed by a doctor if you insist. If it bleeds a lot when injured, that is another indication that it is a Cherry Angioma. They are made up of clusters of dilated capillaries on the surface of the skin. They are usually but not always on the torso.
Other types of red marks on the hands and feet are much more serious as they could be a sign of some very severe medical problems so be sure to check with a doctor.

you're insured right? I'd go to a doctor if I were you. You need to go to the doctor to get your money's worth. You can diagnose yourself, but you can't write prescription for yourself. (or operate on yourself) Diagnosing oneself is a dangerous consequence that the flawed insurance system has caused.
There is such a high deduction that insurance won't pay a dime and besides, diagnosis is done by visual inspection. There are clear photos on the internet. A biopsy is almost never performed for this. Removal would be costly so there is no point in seeing a doctor. It's just weird having something that wasn't there before.

I know, we talked about this before. It seems that since health care isn't perfect in the UK, we can't have that system here but what do expect from a country that elected George W. Bush twice?
There *is* enough money contrary to popular opinion. Rich people have to pay, duh. That's not rocket science.
