I totally dig this style. I LOVE chopped up sounds. But it does seem a bit empty harmonically. I would put in a pad or some sort of harmonic content that pulls the bits and pieces together. The pad would probably bring out the chops even more. Just an idea.

Haven't chopped anything up lately, but I still do love the sound.
