Spdif connection?

Post by majistik »

Hi,

I have scope luna and i wish to connect an effect proccessor to it via digital ports.

In my luna card i only got 1 spdif output port (that i guess is also an input).
In my effect processor i have diffrent input and output spdif ports.

I have tried to read the manual and understood nothing - so i look at the pictures and there is most likly a cable for this. where can i find such thing or any othe solution.

Thank you.

You don't actually need a "digital" adaptor, as one thing is the physical mean by which the signal is conducted (the cable) and another thing is the encoding of that signal. That's why you can connect a midi Keyboard via USB to a PC and still send MIDI signals.
You just need a good RCA cable and the adaptor that Gary showed you.

yes, that's the right adaptor. be sure that the cable is a digital cable, however....

Creamware card spdif ---> adapter ----> two cables like (A) one male and one female spdif ----> spdif effect proccessor

sure, just make sure it's an s/pdif cable and not an audio cable.
