yeah Sydney where I live was more or less locked down for the apec meeting . The state gov. made it a public holiday so less people had to go into the city last friday which was a nice gesture I thought ,and of course there were wallopers{cops} everywhere but still those guys made it all the way in . They didn't expect to get in that far and they only got busted when they tried to turn their "motorcade" round to get out and the one who was dressed like bin laden got out of the the limo right outside gw's hotel to help direct the traffic
They do a loy of outrageous things those guys ... on the same show remarking on the fact that the chinese gov. sends a bill for the bullets to the families of people that are executed they went to the chinese embassy here and said they were going to assasinate the chinese premier and would the embassy mind prepaying for the bullets to save on paperwork
But my favourite is when they got in a bank queue and when they got to the teller they put a cassette player on the counter and turned on some cheesy music and told the teller they were putting him on hold
the show is called "the chasers war on everything" and you could probably watch a podcast from the A.B.C. in australia if you wanted to see it all . it is quite funny ,and quite brave you know ,they go up to known street gangs and take the piss ,recently they gave the grand mufti { muslim leader}of australia a really hard time at the airport and I can report that he has no sense of humour whatsoever
