SOLD Lexicon Sore Dick Deal ( can't be beaten )

Post by dawman »

I have sold my contract, and much old gear is trickling back home after 2 years of road gigs. So now I have my Q20, and PCM91 on my DAWg's and am as happy as a pig in shit.

This frees up a few more hardware FX, and soon 3 x 15 DSP cards, etc.,etc.

But today I could feel the pain of my fellow Brotha's from around the world, crying out for a good hardware based reverb unit.

So here it is,................No offense to my fellow Yanks, but anyone from Europe, Asia, or my brethren from down under can have it for 75 USD plus shipping, USA and Canada 100 firm. I will pay shipping.

Dbmac, buy this so I can send you the manual for the Line 6 Echo Pro.

This is NOT a PCM quality reverb, however, I owned many Lexicons, and this has many of the algo's, but the Lexi chip is a knock off from the Pro Tools makers ( DigiTech ), and is a great hardware unit for Scope, as it has SP/DIF I /O's, as well as analog.

As usual, in one week it will be at ebay, your word to hold is good enough for me. And as John Cooper our moderator says " pay me when you can ". So I shall pass this unit, and pray that someone uses it w/ Scope. I did for 3 years. It works great for giving a dry stage ( excess props, carpet ) some wetness, and size. But it lacks the editing and depth of a PCM91. However, this is a SORE DICK DEAL !!

Consider it sold to a canuck, Scott Harris in Port Hope , Ontario Canada. How do I pay. Dare I say it..... This dog can hunt? This will be integrated into my Scope system for sure, lots of spif connections to spare!

It's yours.

Do you have the 75 Ohm cables, if not I have the gold Monster series.

I shall do a quick inspection of my trunks and see if I need them on anything. I am pretty sure that I will be using the AES / EBU's, and TOSLINK's only.

PM me your address, as long as shipping isn't anymore than 30 USD the price will be 100 USD. Canadian customs has been really weird lately, sometimes they open the box up, and want to charge the reciever more money. As long as there is no fuse hanging from the package, it should be O.K..

I shall miss my trustworthy warrior, but Canucks enjoy good hunting Dogs, so I will mourn it's absense for a month or so.

Trust me, I have demo'd a few new reverbs lately from Scope, and can immediately exclaim, no friggin' way they can even compare to hardware, but until you do an A/B comparison in the box w/ Scope and Lexicon, you won't know. Using decent headphones w/ 20-20 specs, you'll see why I use hardware based reverbs for my samplers via Scope, and hardware delays for my analog synths via Scope. But Scope based delays are a whole different bag of tricks, and add to an already massive collection of reverse looped delays, etc.etc.

Fantastic, I think I have spdif cables kicking around here. I am in the process of buildiing my project studio and most of my stuff is packed up. Can I send payment via paypal? If this is acceptable, I would pay it instantly. Many thanks. I am very pleased!

You Betcha, but I'm in no hurry for the green. Send me your address so I can find out the cost of shipping.

This sounds really good bro, I hope you give it proper burial in the studio where it belongs. I used it at gigs for years w/ flawless stabilty, the MIDI implementation is lightning fast. It works great on drums and vocals, and w/ the SP/DIF I / O's, it's cleaner than a lean dick dog !!

Money has been sent via paypal. Please keep me in mind if you are planning on parting with a 15/14 dsp card. Even first generation will do as I use these all in real time in a dedicated creamware box, I can manage the occasional pci overload issue. Thanks for this more than fair trade. This is one happy Canadian.....
