Registration key issue

Post by Cochise »

In order to perform some test I've removed my first Luna II board; but going to check system stability using the latest board only, I realize that some of the CW software ain't registered for the board I'm gonna use alone.

How can I solve this issue?

Just made some search in old threads.

It seems I should pay kind of plugin transfert service to test the system using MOD III :o

I didn't realize yet if the software I've bought after purchasing the 2nd board is registered for both the cards.

a plugin is licensed to a specific card, bound to the hardware serial number of the board. having something like Mod3 registered to one board means you can it use on that single board it's licensed to, a team of cards (including the one it's licensed to) connected via stdm, but not to a card you rip off that team and use separately. if you want to use the plugin on seperate computers with separate scope cards, each of those boards has to have the plugin licensed to it. a plugin transfer will remove the license from the original board and bind it to the new card only.

Thx for the explanaition, Kylie.

I can just patch some device from scratch in order to test the hardware, 'cause the latest patches I've already made can't be loaded using any of the two boards alone.

The situation is quite tangled: I've MOD II & III registered for the old board, MOD II and Flexor 1.5 for the new one
