I saw this but wasn't wise enough to read it @ that time, and now cannot find the thread. I searched under " preset bug fix ", to no avail.
I thought it said to delete the modular pre., and then add the new preset folder. I wish to start from scratch, and also have the Flexor 1.0, and 1.5 folders available if needed, but I just deleted everything and started over.
In case this doesn't work I wish to be prepared by having the preset bug thread link.
Retardedly Yours,
Flexor III Preset Bug Fix Link
No Need,....Great,
I remembered the right way I guess.
I am glad. I spent all day doing crappy music for a dollar, then played F3 till I fell asleep saving all of my presets, only to race home after work and notice all of the Un-Auto Indexed Pre.'s, and the ones I made were gone w/ the wind.
Now I reload projects w/ 4 Modular's from F3, and voila !
I am gonna play F3 from 5:30 tomorrow night till 10:30 Saturday night. This is truly addicting, as soon as I hear a preset or patch that's close to what I like I tweak and play. I still haven't left the pads patch yet, after 3 nights of jammin.
That's the good thing about music you care little about during the day, it makes race home to play what you love,.....synths from the Adern Team.
I really like the contrast of F3 and Solaris. The Solaris hardware w/ Flexor III is definately the future of synths, especially if you have a Voyager, SE-1x, or Code 2 for the monophonic necessities. I wish modular had a more analog feeling portamento section. It can do some nice monophonic stuff though. It really sounds fantastic through the Oberheim Echoplex Digital Pro in reverse. All the transients that we are accustomed to being at the end of an envelope come first, and when I use 2 synths simultaneusly, w/ one being unaffected, it's just unbelievably unique.
I Gotta Go,

I Gotta Go,
I am tired of reading about myself also.
GaryB is helping me re install Bidule and Cubase C4 tonight. I have been watching the producer use Nuendo at my day gig and think C4 is pretty similar. i will try again tonight and hope it works. We had to install a patch for C4 and it didn't work. The problem is GVI, so if you don;'t mind an all Scope recording using modular drums I will try again and post, as these sounds must be heard.
Thanks For Your Interest, I will give it hell as I have 18 hours to play un interupted till my sweetie comes in town.
BTW, would you prefer an original fusion peice all done awesome samples, and synthds, or Isao Tomita retake done w/ Solaris and Flexor III. That would be an all modular Solaris arrangement,?

Orevua,
I assure you GaryB is the master of building, as well as Cubase 4, Bidule.
I just have a few chinks in the arnor since we upgraded and added new apps.
I really suck at making things work, and when I'm not doing steady live gigs, I tend to fuck up my boxes. Since GaryB just left, he can only provide his services via phone. He was only gone 1 week and I fucked up my Giga Daw. But the re installs should fix the problem, and I shall woodshed Cubase 4 until this works. Since I have the HD24/96, and everything else @ Midiworkz, I have the Cubase 4 / GVI / Bidule / Scope DAW to play with all week.
Gary, tell them what a fuck up I really am with this stuff when I don't gig, so they will believe me.
And BiFop, I do have an original fusion piece I wrote 4 the documentary on Antarctica. It will be the first recording I ever attempted w/ Cubase 4.
Next weekend, Sunday 4 sure.

Thanks to GaryB's online keytech work ( via cell phone ) Bidule has GVI going w/ 6 instances, and K2 doing 2 instances.
I got K2 so I could still use a favorite developer of mine from Europe. Scarbee's vintage electro-mechanical samples such as the D6 Clavinet, Rhodes, Wurlitzer, and recently his awesome sounding Black Bass. Funny that I have to get a European cat to do American vintage instruments, well the Clav was from Hohner, but his attention to detail warrants his work inside of Scope.
I declare GaryB a Master of Cubase, Scope, and many other apps as well.
His free services here are a great contribution to this forum.
For He Is A Jolly Good Fellow,
