Flexor III Install

Post by dawman »

Well since my tech is in a session I call on my Brotha's,

I have installed everything as instructed, but now I have no tab at the top of the routing window which displays Modula III. I must have this to use the new Flexor III stuff, so I can then add my reg. keys, and get jammimg.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you are in the USA, my phone # is ( 702 ) 596-1432

I would be happy to compensate financially for any assistance.

Humbly,

Jimmy V.

One hypothesis :

F3 installer has as default location C/Scope. If it's different, you have to select the proper installation folder. For example, In one of my daws, I have F/Sfp as path...it could have been F/Scope or C/Sfp, in anyone of these cases I had to change installation path in the installer dialog, to match the different location.
I had to select F/ as drive and Sfp as folder before completing installation.

Could it be that your Scope software is somewhere else than C/Scope? In tat case you wouldn't find The FleXor tab on the modular frame after the install......

O.K.,
Got that down, now I have recieved the window that asks for the key, I choose the proper hardware serial #, but when I put the FIII key in the little software serial # window, it says " invalid for modular ".

I shall wait for your infinite wisdom, as I have always had GaryB do this stuff. Please forgive me I'm just the piano player.

Just to be clear, the Flexor3 key doesn't work for Modular III. Also be sure youre installing Flexor3 into the right directory (as noted in the above message). It doesn't show up in the Scope routing window btw, it shows up in the top of the Modular shells (mod 2 & 3).

What shows up in the top of the routing window is the patches, which are a separate download and must be placed manually.

I got it going fine, but the activation keys are for my old board instead of the new one.

I sent the HS# to Assaf, and Alfonso sent me the keys for FI, as well as FIII. But since there are 3 language transfers, there could have been a slight mistake. Plus I am seriously lame w/ my apps, but my key tech ...GaryB assured me that after several attempts, and having the reg fail as I look at the F3 patch loaded under the registration window, that we had installed, and loaded it correctly. Otherwise the patch would not have been visible.

My MOD II, and MOD III, tabs, which were never there before tonight, look beautiful.

I think they will get it straight for me tomorrow.

I seem to always order off menu,.........Danny DeVito in " Get Shorty ".

It looks very nice, and the demos sound sweet as well.
I am very feverish, but will wait till tomorrow I 'spose.

Thanks Val,

BTW, you need that 3.0GHz Northy yet ?

Beyond,
I just got home from a dull session where I had to do a half assed Orchestral peice. The " Producer " obviously composed it on a PCM sample synth, as his counterpoint was non existent.

Then I opened my email and loaded the keys. Thank You Very Much.

I was never that impressed w/ Modulars sound until I got Flexor 1.5. It helped alot, but you guys nailed it w/ Flexor III. I have no idea how, only that the difference in sound I'm hearing cannot be just from the A16 to the A16 Ultra. It must be the new modules. So far it has been stable and sounds beautiful. I realise these are elementary patches to most Mod Godz, but the sound is very convincing, and beautiful as well. ProWave Modular is going to sound so sweet, I can incorporate these in Prowave modular I hope. If not, I will surely find a killer patch to use for my gigs.

Hats Off To All Involved, Excellent work indeed.
