Plugin keys on SRB, procedure

Post by geoffd99 »

Hi all
I am selling my 15 dsp SRB, as I am downscaling due to New Arrival. I am keeping my P2 card.

The SRB came with the Mix and Master, and Synth and Sampler packs, all these plugs are registered to the SRB.

I had already bought all of these over the years for my P2/Luna card set up, so I can sell all these plugs with the card (same as it came from the dealer).

Now, question is, if I sell the SRB, does the new owner need to do anything to run all these plugs, or do they just put the .oxe in the oxe folder and use allkeys (Ralf sent me the file for the card). Ralf has not replied about this so I am posting here.

Does CW have to be involved at all, ie is there a fee for re-registering them to a new owner? Since they are already on an allkeys for that SRB?

Any tips welcome.

(PS no one has made an offer yet so PM me if interested)

you can just give them the keys for that card(the allkeys file can be copied and then edited with wordpad, just be sure you have a backup first).

the new owner can have sonicore register the card to them. since the keys will stay with the card, there's no fee.

Thanks Gary, that is what I guessed, nice to have it confirmed by a pro. :)

Although I might have to put it on Ebay! :o
