an interesting cooperation - and a great song
for my taste it's mixed a bit hissey, in particular the voice, which 'collides' with some guitar parts.
Admittedly I'm with the cliche of the vocal part as centre of a song...
this mix makes her a bit lost in all those pristine string sounds.

with a slightly 'darker' eq on them and the vocals a bit more upfront this would be THE perfect track - from ideas and composition to performance and production.

respect, Tom

wow, great production! Congrats Laurent! Pristine sounds indeed!

I think the voice is overpowered too, partly because of the mix and partly because of the voice. Noémie sings very well, but the singing style doesn't really blend with the band, that is imvho... The song calls for more grain and more guts in the performance, and more dynamic variations, so that when the apex arrives it really punches. At 1:50 we would expect a dynamic increase building the intensity but it doesn't happen, same thing at 3:36. The band lifts the energy but the voice doesn't follow. The lyrics are difficult to understand too, because of the mix and Noémie's accent, which has a certain charm! At 3:06 I'd like the drum to calm down a bit to mark the structure.

the hihat seems a bit too loud in the system where i listened the tune.

The lead guitar is awesome, really well balanced, and the whole tune is really pro-sounding! I'm being picky here! I love the song!

keep it up bro!

yes, I assumed it was done that way...
listening to a few other productions on that radio some suffer from the same hiss, while others perform really well - and there's some good stuff among it - tnx

bookmarked it, Tom :D

Hi legros,
I really enjoy the CAPE_V_Team_Homestead’s tune; I loved the Guitar parts, it seems be real? The Vocal is well performing too! Except a little Analogy hiss, where noticed obviously like from the Headphone leakage during Vocal recorded?
Anyway, great song!

My best,

LongStudios
