A16Ultra Too loud output level?

Post by JL »

My Mackie 1202 peak meter shows +10dB at unity gain, when A16Ultra is set to -10dBv(consumer level). When I set it to +4dBu, Mackie starts to clip.
When I use Scope Homes Unbalanced output mackie shows 0dB at unity gain. The high frequency responce is also louder on A16Ultra.

Is this normal behaviour of the A16Ultra, or is there something wrong?

the mackie is -20(or -10)db consumer level.
the 10db peak is according to that standard.

your A16 is working properly.

Thanks for the quick reply.

So when Scope mixer shows 0dB, Mackie shows +10dB.

Why is there a 10dB difference between Scope Home and A16Ultra?
