Sync problem solved

Post by tuzzan »

For several weeks i´ve tried to solve a sync problem
witth my Mackie HDR24 and Cubase studio 4.
I use 3 "Luna 2" cards and scope 4,5 , all card has there
own IRQ 21 22 23
Windows xp SP2

The problem was that the PC was freezing after 30 -400 sec
and the only solytion was to reset the PC .

I have tried so manny setup (midi filter) and so on , but nothing
worked.
Finaly I bougth a USB midi inteface and "Bang" everything works
perfect !!!!! :) :) :) :) :)

What is wrong with this creamware cards ?????

Hope this will help others out there !!!

active sensing causes some sort of overflow on modern systems, about the time that Intel added Hyperthreading to their cpu's. It also affects some dual core systems now, as well as most of the P4 line.

Ok thanx !

Strange anyway ! the support have never heard about
the problem .

It still works now with the USB inteface , and
i remember that I had a P3 with 2 Luna2 card and sync that with
cubase VST32 .
That worked perfectly back then ??
So u probably right !
