Primary Card

Post by grappa »

Hi,

How do you tell which card is the primary card in a multi-card setup and how do you change it?

I have a Luna and Pro and in my DSP list the Luna is shown at the top.

I have looked at my cset.ini file and can't see references to board 0 board 1 etc

Appreciate any help

if your cards have a different number of DSP's on them you can look in the DSP meter to see which cards DSP's are listed first..

You may need to add the [board0] lines to the cset.ini file.
There are a ton of threads about that on this forum.
do a search in the problem solving forum on [board0] and you will find your answers for that issue.

Check your hardware i/o drop down list. I can't remember, if it is prioriticed according to card priority, but I think so.

Thanks for the posts guys.

I have updated the cset.ini and my Pro card is now listed first in the DSP list.

I notice that on some of the cset posts reference is made to an entry for the host board. Any idea what this does/means? I have set my Pro card as the host as I assumed this was the right thing to do :)
