Can I change my I/O plate ??

Post by Stompa81 »

I was just wondering with my Scope Project card if I can change my classic I/O plate for a "plus" i/o plate??

If it is possible can I buy a plus i/o plate off someone ???

I've got a Plus plate on my Pulsar 2 which I would quite like to swap for a Classic, and you're not to far across the ditch (i'm in Wellington). PM me if you are interested.

Cheers, Wayne.

Is it just a case of simply swapping the plates over ?? Or do you have to re-install scope after the swap aswell??

All Pulsar 2/Scope project I/O plates are Interchangeable

you can swap your PLUS with Classic or Zlink or 24ADAT and vise versa.

I hope it works! :-)

I unplugged the i/o plate from my Pulsar 2 and powered it up again (I also have a Pulsar 1 and PowerSampler) - Scope still see's the Pulsar 2, but with no i/o - just acts like a DSP booster.

So I wired my ADA8000 up to Pulsar 1, re-routed and all good to go! This stuff is too smart sometimes. The flexibility we have is amazing.

Anyway, means I can do the swap with Stompa81 without any down time for either of us.
