Flexor question(s)

Post by Atomic Marshmallow »

Hello,

There seems to be no life at the Adern site and forum, so I hope you don't mind me asking here as I haven't had any response at adern.com. So here are my questions I asked there:

I have recently had to reinstall everything so therefore had to download Flexor again. Anyway, I noticed a strange thing while trying to download. The file is say 25 Mb, but when I download it downloads something like 300kb. I download again, it asks me to replace the file and then the file is the normal download size. Why is that?

Next question. I am not clear if I have to apply the 1.5 fix. I read on the site the following:

"this is a fix for FleXor 1.5. if you have downloaded befor 23-11-2004, download this."

Perhaps this is an obvious question and excuse me for asking it (I just want to be sure), but seeing I downloaded after 23/11/2004, do I need to apply it?

Thanks

You don't need the fix, near the 1.5 package download it's also written that the last update of the files has been done in that date, so no problem :)

the forum is a bit empty, yes, but at Adern everybody is very absorbed by the next release and most of the users, the real makers of a forum, orbit around Planet Z !

Thanks for the reply Alfonso. However, what about the strange download thing? As I said, I download a file say 25 Mb in size, it downloads something like 300kb. I download again, it asks me to replace the file and then the file is the normal download size. Why is that?

Internet Explorer. Though I don't encounter any "problems" downloading stuff from other sites, just the Adern one with regard to the strange file size that has to be downloaded twice to make sure I get the correct size.

I am also having no luck in getting help. I transferred everything to my newest DAW, and forgot about the registration process.

Hopefully this will be resolved after it's release.
