Okay, this is a weird one.
I'm a big fan of VDAT, and use it all the time for the odd transcription recording from motherboard audio (cloning an iTunes song, etc.) or dumping from vinyl or cassette tape through the SCOPE inputs.
I've had VDAT dialed-in on my routing window and working for about 4 years now.
Suddenly, not only can I not record anything new to VDAT (meters on VDAT surface don't bounce), but also my old .vtp files won't play back either.
I have tried removing and reinstalling the VDAT plugins to the routing window and reconnecting them to the mixer. No dice. Everything else about my twin SCOPE cards and SFP 4.5 seems to be working fine, including playback from motherboard audio and all Cubase and Avid operations.
The only change that I made was to try switching to 96-kbps frame rate, since I'm presently doing a double speed cassette transcription. I don't know if it was not working just before changing bitrates, because I didn't check! (You know how it is... you don't expect it to not be working so you don't test it before making what should be a simple change.) Well, it didn't work at 96, but now it's not working at 48 either (maybe it wasn't and I didn't know). Like I said, everything else seems to be working fine.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem, or have any idea which bung-hole I may have dropped my brain into?

Thanks kindly!
