I love the spoon 
I sense a bit of irony in the remark about "randomly rewiring a modular patch", which might be deserved, but at the same time there's one important difference, the tactile quality of circuit bending wich is propably one of the important things that fascinate the inspired circuit benders.

well, I've quoted it a couple of times already, but anyway...
90% of the software engineers in some way involved with 'user interfaces' should take a week off, buy (and study ! ) a Casio SK-1 toy sampler/synth during that time - and then maybe get back to work again (or change their job...)
