Welcome David. :) I use Cubase too at the moment - VST5.1 but plan to "upgrade" to Cubase4 once I am convinced that I should have no problems with bugs. What version do you use? I actually use VST5 with EnergyXT as a VSTi which offers great options for routing midi and audio. Plus EnergyXT in Standalone Alone mode on separate PCs once I have these PCs setup again. Definately recommend EnergyXT - it's so cheap and stable. Not tried the latest Version 2 yet - don't think it's been fully released to the public. Definately my best purchase ever - excluding my Creamware cards of course  .

EDIT:- Just checked out your website quickly (I need my sleep so will investigate it more soon...) I love trance (big euphoric, tribal, melodic - as long as there's not too much in the way of vocals...) I see you use SX3. I have purchased SX2 cheaply secondhand with the aim of using it to upgrade to Cubase4 but then I read about all the bugs and decided to hold back. Must admit, I am not too keen on the idea of learning how to use a "new" host. You should definately check out EnergyXT though. It is an amazing VST plugin/host. I think I paid about £30 for it and use it all the time in Cubase. Load EnergyXT as a VSTi. Put a VSTi inside EnergyXT's main window. Then connect up other VST instruments/effects/midi plugins within the same EnergyXT window. Then you can control pretty much any of these plugins' parameters with any midi controller number over any range. That's just the very, very basics of what it can do. I actually use just one instance of EnergyXT as a VSTi within Cubase. I set it up as a VSTi with 32 outs so that when I load it into Cubase, it appears with 32 outputs going into 32 mixer channels in Cubase. I then route everything in the EnergyXT window into the Cubase mixer channels. Then into Scope. The KVR EnergyXT forum is very helpful.

Sorry, I have gone on too much here and feel like I am hijacking your original post. :o But if you ever need any help with EnergyXT..............

Hi hesnotthemessiah
Well, if U went on my website U certanly saw that in the main page U can read that the website actually online is the old one , so :)
I doesn t use Cubase anymore(not for producing, I use it only for make sounds on videos and pubblicity 4 radio).
Indeed, my studio setup it s a bit changet atm.Anyway, I didn t tryed Cubase 4
yet, even if I think I ll do it soon. I ve used cubase since I am 13, so I ve tourned from the vst 5 from the sx3
And I have to say, the SX3 worxxx very good, and I ve never had any confict between cub and sfp, I dunno how it woxxx in xtc mode cause I ve never been able to use it :(
The versatility of cub sx 3 and sfp allow U to make good setups, I was using all channel on cubase mixer in the sfp mixer, than controll sfp synths are yeasy to use and control on the sx3,
So, what I can advice is that :
I would personally avoid to buy cubase 4 untill about 6 months from here, so steinberg can have the time to fix all bugs.
U could buy the sx3 and than buy the upgrade to the 4, I dunno, but U could also save some money

Yes, just what I was thinking. I will wait a bit longer for Steinberg (and their users) to iron out more of the bugs before I give it a go
