I've made a ModV2 patch with various stereo insert effects. This is a first for me, I've never used insert effects in a Mod patch before.

But when I try to save the module it says:

"The Module cannot be saved because you made some illegal operations in the referenced modules. Please save your device or the reference module and try again."

Well, trying again does nothing. The patch saves fine without any effects, but this rather defeats the point of it all...

I'm only trying to insert standard CW stereo effects - but third party effects give the same result too.

Any thoughts ?

Hi Spirit,

I think that's a bug or shortcoming for Mod2. Just save the device without the effects, and get a preset which loads them afterwards.

Now that's a nice bit of lateral thinking !

It works fine:
- make a preset aaaa with no effects & save patch
- make presets with various inserts and save the preset
- reload again the aaaaa empty preset and save device

Beautiful.

Thanks Disciple Atomic

you could even include the presets with inserts in the module, but it your Mod2 patch may not contain inserts at the time of saving. The other presets in the list can
