didn't we used to have to buy cheap, crappy electronics that were poorly sheilded to get that effect?

That's This is Spinal tap,where the group spent 20 minutes hyped up saying "yeah rock and roll ",because they were lost in the basemant of the venue.

right, but Nigel Tufnel quit the band once when his wireless started picking up air traffic controllers.....

the other movie is "Cheech and Chong's next Movie" i believe. Chong's a maniac hippy in a music store who blows up a guitar amp and makes awful noises with the guitar at full volume and has a problem with a radio station blaring through the speakers at the same time....
