dev to vst dll converter

Post by the19thbear »

i spend some time converting dev´s to dll´s to use in my xtc setup. I would LOVE a small windows program that could convert the a device to a vst dll., all it has to do is rename it!

i´m no programmer otherwise i would do this myself!
thanks
and merry christmas!

just a tool that renames a dev into dll?

or one that renames the sandard XTC vst dll (20KB size) into the devices name + ".dll" ?

What you need is a general file manager which is able to rename files & copy them to a new location which you specify (like your XTC folder), but it would need to be able to do this automatically (using pre-set instructions) by just dragging files onto it. If it wasn't automatically renaming & copying straight to your desired location I don't see the point, as you won't save time by opening an application every time you want to rename & copy a file.

Okay I did a very small tool for you! because its XMAS! hehe

Copy the two files into the folder where all the DEVs are inside.....
run it and click convert

The tool will make the XTC dlls in this folder.

You still have to manually copy the dlls into dedicaded VST folders....

best regards....
