Merry X-Mas,
I have Pulsar I and Pulsar II and once I red (I don't know where I red it) that normally two Pulsar boards share the same IRQ-Port! But my Pulsar boards don't! Pulsar II is on IRQ 11 and Pulsar I on IRQ 9 and when I want to change the IRQs Win98 says that the ressources cannot be changed!!
How can I change the IRQs??? Or is it not a good idea to put the IRQs of both boards together???
THANX

Subject: setting IRQ
Merry back at ya.
Setting IRQ is done in BIOS setup - usually hit[del]key at start of bootop, look for "PnP/PCI Configuration" (or something similar). In that directory you should have the option to assign IRQs to four PCI slots (PIRQ_0 controls AGP, PIRQ_4 controls PCI slots 4 & 5). If you know the slots your Pulsars are in, you can choose IRQ 11 for the corresponding "PIRQ" for the boards, save and exit, and you should be set.
Make sure neither of the Pulsar boards are in slot 1.
Hope this works for you,
/dave
