Finally saw a fellow w/ a nice rig @ The House Of Blues. Princes guy is using the Korg Triton's 1 x 88, plus 1 x 76. He is wise and experienced player. The sounds from the tritons are there if his VST rig crashes. He is using 2 x Pro Rack 2U Receptors. Some neat sounding plugs, but far from FAT BASTARDS.
He has crashes and freezes evey night !! I would be out of my mind. I will be demoing my rig today to him, he makes 2000 USD weekly to play 2 or 3 nights a week w/ Prince. Pretty sweet gig. Brotha' Man Derek is his name. I believe when can save his soul from the weak sounding VSTi's that populate his racks. A Possible convert. Plus he could have kept up with Bob Marley in the other department.
