Hello Z!

I have been mixing more and more in SFP, because I feel that the quality of the audio rendering in Ableton is unsatisfatory... I use a lot of Vincos in many channels, and I would like to have some side-chained to other channels, or other Vincos. The problem is that when I try to connect the SC inputs to the STM 2448, it sends out an error message, saying that this cannot be done because there is an incompatibility and a "missing converter". The workaround is to open a Vinco outside the mixer, send the audio material and the sidechain material through different out-busses, and re-route the Vinco back into the STM...

This seems a little odd, because when I used XTC mode, I could send audio fom one Vinco to another without having to open new tracks. Can anyone tell me if this is normal, or do I have a problem with my installation?

Another thing: I recently added Flexor to my toolbox, and found something weird: when I open a flexor module anywhere in the project, I cannot route ins and outs using the routing window: I have to use the text fields on the mixer or on the Live-bar... How normal is that?

Thanks in advance for any ideas!

Much peace,

T

i'd try reinstalling over your current install first(right over the top of the old install)...

I don't think modular modules are meant to be in the project, only in the modular. But you got it to work via the Live bar??

In XTC, you will get the option to SC to any XTC plug-in output. But it can be hard figuring out which is which with multiple plug-ins loaded.

Anyway, the list is populated downwards in the order of loaded plug-in.
