No Mixer/Effects after Luna upgrade to 3.1 software

Post by jimmckerchar »

Hi all. First of all i hope this is the right place to post this. It seemed as good a place as any....

I produce music as a hobby and have had a Luna soundcard for several years now (since V2 i think) and never had any problems with it.

A couple of years ago, i upgraded my PC to Win XP (again, a couple of years ago) and had problems running the software. After contacting Creamware, it was suggested that i upgrade my software to Version 3 which i could do for free. So far, so good!

I downloaded the package and the allkeys file and installed the software with no problems. Sweet. A working soundcard again...... Only to find that i am now no longer able to use any sort of mixer/effects that i was once able to use with my Luna II software!

Has anyone else had this problem? And does anyone know of a solutio? Is it still possible to get the Version 2 software with plug-ins included? Or do i just have to make do?

Any advice or suggestions would be welcome as i would like to start using my Luna to (at least part) of it's full potential.

Thanks.

Can't answer your question - things are a bit hazy when it comes to old software. As long as you keep copies of your old devices you should be able to use them in v3, although you should have a load of new goodies in V3 that you can use - not sure what you get in the package but there should be mixers and effects even in the most basic 3.1c.

What i can tell you is this is completely the wrong forum to use - this is for posting new devices - try the General Scope Forum instead.
