Image to New Computer

Hi Together!

Someone ever managed to restore an Backup-image to a new computer.

I´m definetely to lazy to install all my plugins to the new computer.
I have Acronis True Image and

1. I wonder´, if the restore will have problems with different sizes of harddisks
2. Do I have to install the XP on the new computer first (to have the MB-Driver).

Or is it not worth to do it at all.?

I think you should read about this freeware (i have not).
I think it will help you with #2
#1 - in old FAT days, the hd's had to be of the same size, not shure now!
