hi just wondering can anyone help me with a routing problem i have?
Im using scope 4.5 o a powerpulsar and recently got a Behringer mixer for my outboard gear. I am using an emu audity sound module and a cs1x, i have the emu's midi thru cable going into the midi thru on the cs1x and have sound in the scope 4.5 for the cs1x and midi works perfect with this but i dont have sound or know how to call up the midi in the Emu to come through in the scope 4.5, how should i approach this?
I havent even opened cubase yet as i should be able to get some sort of sound out of it before i open this? Im quite new to using external gear so any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Chris

also, im daisy chaining my sound module into my master keyboard but i dont know how to establish the connection from my sound module to my soundcard
i have the midi from the sound module going midi thru into the masterkeyboard, on the master keyboard should i have local turned off?
What should i connect to where in the routing window?
Any help would be great

Hey Arkadin, you helped me out before i remember
The EMU Audity 2000 im using is actually a sound module quite like a EMU proteus, its not a sound card thank god as im having enough trouble with just one sound card.
I am using the powerpulsar for midi but i guess im having a problem in the routing window in scope 4.5 software. Any ideas how i should go about it?

Sorry i was thinking of the Audigy.
In the routing window from the menu bar, drag the modules from Hardware IOs>MIDI A Dest and MIDI A Source. From Software IOs drag Sequencer MIDI Dest and Sequencer MIDI Source. Connect MIDI A Source to Sequencer MIDI Dest and Sequncer MIDI Source to any SCOPE devices and MIDI A Dest. That should get you going. Keyboard should definitely be in Global Off. Personally i never use SCOPE's MIDI, i use my Midex3 - maybe you should try the Midiman?

Just use Cubase to record. In the project window you need to have any audio source modules loaded - Analog Source, ASIO2 Souce64, Synths etc. Make sure you have the ASIO2 Dest loaded too. Open Cubase, route the audio you want to record into ASIO2 Dest - you'll have to configure Cubase to see the CW ASIO drivers. Then create an audio track in Cubase and it record. To hear it route out of Cubse to one of the ASIO2 Sources you've created and route that into a mixer, route the mixer into Analog Dest module (you can increase the amount of bus outputs by double clicking on the Source module and incresing the number you see - 32 will give to 16 stereo bus outputs).
